Transfers
At Sulphur Springs Union School District, we encourage families to enroll their children in their designated neighborhood or “home” school, based on their residential address. If you're unsure which school your child should attend, please use our School Locator for guidance.
If you have any questions regarding enrollment or transfers, please contact Lizzette Nuñez at 661-252-5131.
For State Preschool, please contact Edna Rodriguez at 661-252-8045.
Open Enrollment: New enrollments, Intra-District and Inter-District Transfers for the 2026-2027 school year will be accepted starting January 20, 2026.

-
An Intradistrict Transfer is when parents/guardians wish to enroll their student(s) at a school other than the designated "home" school within the District's attendance area.
All intradistrict transfer applications within the open enrollment window will be treated with equal priority. Approval is subject to space availability at the district, school site, grade level, or within a specific program. An approved transfer into the District may not result in attendance at the site requested. If there are more requests than spots available, a waiting list for the school will be established.
Impacted schools (defined as those with higher enrollment than projected, thus considered at full capacity) may not have additional spots.
