School Plans for Student Achievement

Each school in the Sulphur Springs Union School District develops a School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) to support the success of every student. The SPSA is a roadmap that identifies each school’s academic and social-emotional goals, the strategies and programs that will be used to reach those goals, and how resources will be used to support student learning. The plan is developed collaboratively with input from teachers, staff, families, and the School Site Council and is based on a review of student achievement and other school data. Throughout the year, schools monitor their progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure that students receive the instruction, intervention, enrichment, and support they need to thrive. The SPSA reflects our District’s continued commitment to all students learning at high levels and to creating welcoming, inclusive learning environments where every child is supported in reaching their fullest potential.
