Mrs. Weinstein is currently serving her second term on the Sulphur Springs School Board.  She also serves as President of the Santa Clarita Valley School Trustees Association and is on the Executive Board of the LA County School Trustees Association. Mrs. Weinstein and her husband Steve have three children, all of whom attended Sulphur Springs School. Prior to being on the school board Mrs. Weinstein served on a variety of district committees and was an active PTA board member.  Mrs. Weinstein was honored to receive the PTA Honorary Service and Golden Oak Awards as well as being honored by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as a “Champion of Children."
Denis DeFigueiredo

Clerk		Mr. DeFigueiredo and his family have been residents of Canyon Country since 1991 and he is employed by Newhall Land as an Information Technology Manager. He and his wife Sharon have three children all of whom attended Mitchell Elementary School.  Mr. DeFigueiredo has served on School Site Councils at Mitchell Elementary and Sierra Vista Junior High, as well as having served on district committees in the Hart District.  His involvement in the community and schools, including youth sports, music, and Scouting, has been recognized by the PTA with an Honorary Service Award and by Boy Scouts of America with a District Award of Merit.

Michael Hogan

Mr. Hogan is the President and CEO of Hogan Communications, an entertainment based marketing and advertising company. He has 3 children. that attended Sulphur Springs Elementary School. Mr. Hogan has served on the Board of Trustees since January of 2000. In addition, Mr. Hogan is a member of the Santa Clarita Valley Trustees Association and a member the  Santa Clarita Valley Boys & Girls Club Foundation Board.  He is the current Chairman of the College Of The Canyons Measure C Oversight Committee and is also on the Advisory Board of California United Bank.
Dr. Kerry Clegg

Dr. Clegg is employed in the financial management field as the CEO of a credit union.  He and his wife Rosanna have 5 children.  Dr. Clegg has served on the Board of Trustees for The Sulphur Springs School District since 1989.  In addition, Dr. Clegg is a member of the Santa Clarita Valley School Trustees Association.

Sheldon Wigdor

Member		Mr. Wigdor is employed as a Program/Project Manager in the electronics manufacturing industry. He has 4 adult children who all attended Mitchell Community School. Mr. Wigdor has served on the Board of Trustees since 1993. He continues to be is very active in the community, especially with youth baseball, as both a coach and umpire, and currently serves on the Little League District 40 Board of Directors. Not only has he been recognized by the PTA with an Honorary Service Award, but was also honored by Little League International with his selection to umpire the 2007 Big League Softball World Series.
